Walk for Animals 2017

AHS Buffalo Staff Team (Notorious D.O.G.)

Notorious D.O.G. knows that you love animals and don’t need extra reasons to donate to the Walk for Animals. But we also know that a good old fashioned friendly wager can put more excitement into people’s lives.

That’s why the leadership team in Buffalo have agreed to a friendly wager with the rest of the staff. If we blow our original goal of $1000 out of the water and raise over $1500, Site Manager Pat Krienke and Operations Supervisor Jay Carpenter will perform a song at this year’s “Hoot,” AHS’s Talent Show. If we underperform and raise under $750, the rest of the staff will have to perform at the “Hoot” as an ensemble!

I know what you’re thinking…we want to see the Buffalo site perform an ensemble piece…that would be hilarious! Let me tell you that Pat and Jay’s performance will blow your mind, so you should help make this happen. Besides, all of the proceeds go to helping animals in our shelters.

Just so you know how much your donation can help, our stretch goal of $1500 is enough money to help house and care for 67 animals in our shelter for one day AND put three dogs through our Adoption Preparation program which readies shy or fearful dogs for adoption. Every little bit helps us get closer to that goal. A $10 donation is enough to screen 3 animals for intestinal parasites, and $25 is enough to provide 6 scratching posts for cats in our care!

Help out some animals and help put Pat and Jay on a stage in November!
