Step up for the Animals!

Hey everyone!

I will be participating in the Animal Humane Society's 36th annual Walk for Animals. With five Twin Cities locations, we care for nearly 35,000 unwanted, homeless, and neglected companion animals each year.  This number includes animals taken from unsafe conditions like the 107 dogs removed from a property in Bemidji, MN.  We were able to help the two women that owned the dogs because of our generous supporters.  The women were not intentionally cruel; they just got in over their heads & didn't have the resources to change their situation.

These animals rely on support from individuals like you!  The Animal Humane Society in MN recieves no state or federal funds to help us do our work.  Anything you can give to help me reach my goal will make a big difference in their lives.  All our animals go to their new homes spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated & microchipped & soon we will begin issuing collars & tags free of charge.  We work hard to keep animals with their people through our live answer "Behavior Help Line".  People can call & get answers to their behavior questions before they reach the breaking point & choose to surrender.  The BHL is only one benefit of our new Surrender by Appointment structure.  This initiative has allowed us to reduce euthanasia & increase placement so much we are reaching out to other communities & taking canines & felines in greater numbers than ever before.

Please support me - and the animals - with a donation by selecting thd "donate" button at the top of the page. Together, our efforts will help AHS to keep doing more to make lives better for people & animals!

Thank you!
