For the sixth year in a row we will be participating in the Animal Humane Society's Walk for Animals. With five Twin Cities locations, they care for more than 36,000 unwanted, abused and neglected animals each year.

In October 2006, we adopted Ansgar from the Golden Valley location. He was a tiny 4 month old kitten at the time. Having just lost our cat a couple of months before, we were just going to look at the kitties. But as soon as we had Ansgar with us in one of the adoption rooms, we knew he was coming home with us.  Ansgar loves to be involved in and 'supervises' everything that goes on in the house. He greets us and visitors at the door. And he's a purring machine - so affectionate!! He also loves playing hockey with ice cubes. I am so glad he chose us as his family!
