The MoSchu Crew
Most of you know, I am very passionate about the Animal Humane Society. But do you know where this all started? When I was a Junior at TG, I was a memeber of a group called "Pals" which was similar to a Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization. As a group activity we took all the kids for an end of the year adventure to the AHS Animal Walk. I was hooked! When you see all those people and all those critters...and not just dogs, but lizards and wallabys and parrots, monkeys and goats and horses...It's amazing, it's a fantastic family day and it serves to support a great need in the community! This walk is one of the AHS's biggest fundraisers of the year!
As a family, we have come to love the AHS walk so much that we even go when it falls on Josh's birthday...as it does this year! If you'd like to join us, May 4th 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., we would love to add to our group! You do not need to raise money to come be a part of the largest animal walk in the country!
Our fundraising goal this year is pretty close to what it has been over the years. We are hoping to raise over $1850 for the cats, dogs, birds and other critters who need a forever home. As usual, you will likely get reminder e-mails about every 2 weeks until the event. I know it's a lot and we appreciate your letting us beg like a dog:) Thanks in advance!
Check our blog or Facebook page for updates on both online and off-line donations too!
