Animal Humane Society tribute pages offer a meaningful way to honor the special people, animals and events that touch our lives.  Creating a personalized tribute page is a great opportunity to share your story, in your words, with your photos.   It is a caring way to recognize those you love and hold dear to your heart, while providing for the lives of the over 38,000 animals that come to the Animal Humane Society each year.  To get started, click on create a fund and choose what type of fund you would like to create today.  A Memorial fund is a tribute to a life that has passed on. It is a meaningful way to honor the memory of a pet, friend, or family member who has touched your life. An Honorary fund is a special way to acknowledge an important animal or person living in your life.   This could be an excellent way to let your loved ones know about your newly adopted pet or recognize that special animal lover who has always been a dear friend. A Personal fund is used to recognize the special events or milestones in the lives of you, your friends and your family.  Great for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, and holidays.   Next steps: Customize your page by writing a personal story and adding photos to the online photo album.  Consider making an initial tax deductible donation to get your tribute fund started.  Email those whom you care about and ask them to visit your tribute fund to make a donation.  You can use our suggested messages or write your own.  Make sure to include a direct link to your page so that it is easy for everyone to find. Thank the people who support your tribute fund.  You can log into your Champion Center and view the gifts that have been received and send a personal thank you message.     When a tribute gift is received by Animal Humane Society, an email is sent to the donor to acknowledge the gift, as well as to people that the donor indicates should receive an acknowledgment note.  Tribute gifts over $75 will also be acknowledged in our quarterly publication, Animal Tracks.  Don’t want to set up a webpage, but would still like to make a gift in someone’s honor?  Simply visit our online donation form and fill out the honor/memorial section.   Have questions?  We can help.  Send an email to:  ecommgr@animalhumanesociety.org
