There are several ways to donate and they all help animals!

Donate to an individual:

You may donate to an individual walker (whether they are on a team or not). All you have to do is search for the participant you wish to support and click on the gold "donate" button on their page.

Donate to a team:

To make a donation to a team instead of an individual walker, please search for the team name and make a donation on the team home page by clicking the gold donate button.

General donation:

You may also wish to donate to the Walk event, but no person or team in particular. If so, simply use our Walk donation form.

Donating offline:

If you feel more comfortable donating offline, please make the check out out to "Animal Humane Society" and present to the Walker you'd like to donate on behalf of so they can include it in their fundraising totals. If you would like to donate by check to the general event and not to a specific person or team, you may mail the check to:

Questions about donating

Is donating online safe/secure?

You can donate without worry knowing that we partner with the online fundraising experts at Convio to ensure the safest and most secure transactions possible.

I’ve donated money, but it’s not showing up on the individual’s page.

Please keep in mind it can take up to 15 minutes for a gift to appear on a personal page. If that time has passed, there are a few other things to check.

  • If the person you donated to is on a team, please check to see if your gift is listed on their team page. If it is, please contact us so we can move it over to their personal page.
  • If the gift isn't appearing on the team page, please check to see if you have received a confirmation email for your donation. If you have not received that email confirmation, your donation most likely did not get processed. Please check with your bank/credit card company that you haven't been charged and try the process again.
  • If you do have a donation receipt, please contact us so we can credit the donation to the correct Walker.

Can you change the recognition name of a donation I’ve already made?

Yes, please contact us so we can update the donation with the new recognition name you’d like.

I’ve made several donations on behalf of other individuals. However, they are still credited towards me. Can you help?

Yes, please contact us so we can credit the donations to the correct person. 

I’ve made a donation on a friend's computer and the donation was credited to them instead of me. Can you help?

Yes, please contact us so we can update our records and give you credit for your gift.
